(More customer reviews)This cookbook was mentioned in our local paper as "the best venison cookbook ever." I was tired of game cookbooks with exotic recipes, while meanwhile we have 100 pounds of venison in the freezer. This book is great!! Special recipes for prime cuts, yes; but also chapters on using the crockpot, ground venison, casseroles, grilling, stews, and soups. Within a month I had tried ten recipes and they were all excellent. You will not face the dilemma of a significant portion of frozen venison in October with this book. I only wish I had ordered it sooner.
