(More customer reviews)I have to admit that my crock pot is a lifesaver, when you can start dinner in the morning and have it done with no problem by 6:30 p.m., how can you go wrong? But I had a problem finding new recipies that are family friendly. I have no problem making beef stew, chili, corned beef, you know the usual slow cooker fare. But that gets old.
That is when I picked up Betty Crocker's More Slow Cooker Recipies, and I am very happy I did. Not only do they have new recipies but old recipies with a new spin. And my favorite feature of this book, are all new recipies you can make from the leftovers, you make in your crock pot. It also has all the nutritional info, recommended side dishes, and serving suggestions on each page.
Some of the best recipies in this book include, Smokey Bacon & Gruyere Dip, Fisherman's Warf Seafood Stew, Hunter's Style Pork Roast and many more! If you love to cook with a crock pot and are looking for some great new dishes, give this book a try.
